Was really happy to host two concerts in April , and was pleasently suprised by the attendence and vibes of the concerts as well. About 20 persons in attendance for each one. The second was another trio concert featuring multi intrumentalist Tony Barbara on tenor sax and flute, with Peru on bass , and myself on piano. On this occasion we had a special guest artist Cristian Caceres on trumpet and flugerhorn . We got to play a bit more classic modern with Wayne Shorter's Fi-Fi-Fo -Fum , Spring Can Really Hang You Up The Most ,An original of Peru called Ponle Nombre , and Federico Lorcas/ Cameron masterpiece , Nana , El Caballo Grande.
On May Friday the 13th there we an an inpromtu gathering of friends from the neigborhood , sort of like a spontaneous apero , with me entertaining on the piano . I t was really great because my brother and my sister in law where visiting as well and felt instantly at home here.
